ShaderWorks XT
ShaderWorks XT™ is a revolutionary new hardware shader development toolkit designed specifically for 3D game / software developers, 2D / 3D artists and graphics enthusiasts. Our toolkit provides extremely fast and effective creation of very complex HLSL shaders. ShaderWorks XT includes all the necessary tools to allow you to develop, edit and manage your very own real-time 3D shaders as well includes an integration SDK to quickly take advantage of your creations in your own game or software development projects.

The core engine of our development toolkit is designed to be fully scalable with current and upcoming shader specifications. This allows developers to take full advantage of the XGI Volari's support for DirectX's vertex / pixel shader 2.0 standards.

ShaderWorks Visual Editor™

ShaderWorks Visual Editor is new breed of real-time 3D shader development tool designed specifically for 3D game / software developers, 2D / 3D artists, graphics enthusiasts and users of Mad Software's upcoming Mad F/X 2.0.

The Visual Editor is the first hardware accelerated shader tool to support use a graph-based approach to quickly and easily create complex HLSL material shaders.

Create and manipulate shaders within a user-friendly Visual Studios 7 style interface while the ShaderWorks dynamically creates and compiles the final HLSL shader in real-time.

ShaderWorks FX Viewer™

ShaderWorks FX Viewer is a stand-alone Effect (.FX) file editor. It allows for direct manipulation, previewing and editing of any standard FX file using HLSL or ASM shader languages.

The FX Viewer is great for making last minute changes to your outputted shaders and allows users to combine many shaders onto multiple objects within a scene graph.

We also have plans to fully support application semantics and UI parameters from other shader tools like ATI's RenderMonkey and Microsoft's EffectEdit.

ShaderWorks Integration SDK™

The ShaderWorks Integration SDK is a component which allows software / game developers to quickly and effectively integrate exported ShaderWorks materials into their own software applications or games. The SDK includes a very easy to use API which hooks into the user's 3D engine or application by means of simple callback functions and supports the loading, parsing and rendering of DirectX Effect files. Each time a shader is loaded and rendered, the API calls the appropriate callback functions which are then handled by the application or 3D engine. This setup is only required one time so once the integration SDK is in place, any material or shader created with ShaderWorks can then be used within the application or game project. A sample Direct3D project is also included to demonstrate how easy it is to integrate the SDK.
